Data protection information notice

This document contains mandatory information under EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter "GDPR") on the processing of Euromatic’s website users personal data.

The information provided does not cover other websites, pages or services that can be accessed via hyperlinks from this website but are outside Euromatic's domain.

Data controller

How and why we process personal data

Personal data provided through our contact form (e-mail address and other information provided on a voluntary basis) will be processed for the purpose of answering the sender’s specific request, such as providing information on our activities and products, also through brochures. The personal data provided will not be used for other purposes, such as, e.g., direct marketing.

The legal basis for the processing is the data subject’s consent, which may be withdrawn at any time. Failure by the data subject to provide at least his/her email will make it impossible to answer the specific request. All other data is provided on a voluntary basis.

The data will be kept for no longer than it is necessary to pursue the above purposes and in any event not beyond the withdrawal of the data subject’s consent.

The personal data may be disclosed to such recipients as IT services providers acting on behalf of Euromatic.

Cookies

No cookies are used to profile users nor are other users tracking systems implemented. Euromatic uses technical cookies in order to enable secure, efficient browsing. For the purpose of optimising the website, analytics cookies are used to measure user-interactions, aggregated and anonymized, on Euromatic’s website. The aforementioned service is provided by Google Analytics (https://www.google.it/analytics/terms/it.html). The opt-out browser add-on for the Google Analytics JavaScript is available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. The user can also select the specific parameters that allow the browser to exclude enabling the cookies. The procedures are as follows:

  • Internet Explorer: Select Tools / Internet Options, click Privacy and choose the level of privacy you want using the cursor;
  • Chrome: select Tools / Settings, click Show Advanced Settings and, in the Privacy section, click Content settings;
  • Firefox: Select Tools / Options and click the Privacy;
  • Safari: select Settings > Safari > Block Cookies and select one of the followings: "Always Allow", "Allow only from the websites I visit", "Allow only from the current web site", "Block always".

If the user deletes or blocks a cookie may be impossible to restore any preferences or customization settings.

Data subjects’ rights

Users have the right to obtain from Euromatic, where appropriate, access to their personal data as well as rectification or erasure of such data or the restriction of the processing, and to object to the processing (pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR). The aforementioned rights can be exercised by sending an email to info@euromatic.it. Users have also the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it)
